Employee & Family Resources

Diversity/Inclusion

Feeling safe and knowing that our friends, family, and community members are safe, are essential to maintain our mental health. If you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or unsafe, here are some things you can do:

Need Support?

Text START to 741-741 or call 1-800-273-TALK (8253) for a confidential conversation anytime.

Taking Care of You and Your Community

Visit the JED’s Love is Louder Action Center or their partners at Color of Change and The Steve Fund for more ways to get involved and use your time, voice, and resources to take a stand against discrimination, racism, and the senseless violence devastating communities across our country.

Educational Resources

A great resource from the American Psychological Association about Racism in America.  It has a great 20 min. video on the topic and discussion guide and also has additional resources to help support productive, constructive dialogue around this emotionally charged issue(s): https://www.apa.org/education/undergrad/diversity

Resources for Parents

RESilience Initiative helping to promote healthy racial identities in children: https://www.apa.org/res/

Parent Resources in How to Have Healthy Conversations about Race with Our Children: Parent Resources (apa.org)
